So the TLDR is this: Like you said: even people with a minimally developed game sense would know whether or not the enemy team is going to buy armor or not. Even from a subconscious non-call standpoint noting they had armor wouldn't help much because you wouldn't know how many of them bought armor as callouts about armor would just bog down overall communication. If you did see any, you would probably be more interested in relaying their possible destination and weapon rather than armor. The knowledge of them buying armor or not is sort of pointless because all that really matters in the span of a round are the three important pieces of information I mentioned previously.Īdditionally the armor/helmet visualization runs into another problem because chances are, you aren't going to see all 5 enemy team members over the course of said round. Not as much about "Oh, it looks like 2 or 3 of them bought armor". People who have played the game enough would know how much punishment a player can take before they die so the callout would be purely about: Damage done, Physical Location in the map, and Weapon enemy player has. In most engagements in CSGO people go off of the number of hits they landed if they didn't kill an enemy outright. PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 RMRs / Information, Results, & DiscussionĪctually, that brings up a good point for why visual representations of armor/helmets would be a bad idea.SQUADW MATCH NOW 2 MIN DELAY 1,219 JASONR □IEM Dallas Open Qualifier #1□!pracc !dis. □IEM Dallas Quilifier w/ TEAM MYTHIC□120s.
